Flat hunting has been an interesting exercise. Having never lived away from home before, I've never experienced it before, and both Eelin and Shoko (my future housemates) have never done an intensive flat hunt before. We had decided much earlier that we would start the flat hunt this past week because Eelin was supposed to have the week off so, even when that didn't quite work out, we decided to go ahead :).
Anyway, I won't bore you with the details, but we've seen 6 flats this week and fell in love with the last one we saw, a house, today. It's in Greenwich, quite well-connected to Central London, very well-priced, and beautiful. 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 gardens, a nice sized lounge, set inside a gated community with a cobblestone courtyard and fountain. We're all going back for a second viewing tomorrow (Shoko couldn't come today) and, if she likes it, we're thinking we'll make an offer on the spot :).
Wish us luck!!!
