I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!

One of the things I miss about Toronto is the dessert places (Williams' and Demetre's, for example) where you can just walk in and order a dessert and hot drink without having to buy a meal. London's answer to this is its many cafes, of course - Paul, Patisserie Valerie, Amato, the Hummingbird Bakery, and even Costa and Starbucks. Don't get me wrong - I LOVE these places, and I can contentedly spend a few hours sitting there with a cup of tea, an almond croissant, and a good book. Still, none of these places have provided much of a selection in terms of ice cream.

This is where Haagen Daaz in Leicester Square comes in :). As anything in Leicester Square, Haagen Daaz is a tourist trap - there are queues at any time of the day, in any season. Still, you can't beat it for ice cream!

I can't remember what this was called, but it was YUMMY! Four different kinds of chocolate ice cream topped with four different things. And, of course, musn't forget my lovely pot of tea.

If I look happy, it's because I was...:)
