My favourite comic has become "Em", which is printed in The London Paper. Today I opened my paper, read the comic, and had to smile :). I cut it out and tried to take a picture of it to put on my blog, but the writing is just too blurry. Here, therefore, is its text:
Woman: How do you think London will cope with the swine flu?
Man: Well, we have some geat statistics on our side. Like a population density of about 5000 people per square kilometre. We live in crumbling houses with poor heating and plumbing. Due to our shot economy we can't afford a healthy diet. The whole place stinks - a fact that we've only realised since the public smoking ban has stopped us from chain-smoking. Combine that with a sewage system and a public transport system that date back to the 1800s, and what have you got?
Woman: A breeding ground for swine flu?
Man: No! The ultimate immune system!
